Er is ineens weer leven op mijn blog! Alhoewel ik al een tijdje wel een post wil schrijven, vooral over hoe het er met de tuin voorstaat, komt het er niet van. Wel ben ik sinds een tijdje aan het twitteren en vanaf nu komen die berichtjes ook op mijn blog te staan. Maximaal 140 tekens, dus vandaar dat het allemaal kort is.

Working at the Ecofys-Maastricht office (thanks to the NS working on the railway on my normal route). It feels a bit like a working-holiday.

Passed my exam for BREEAM-assessor. Now I only need to finish the homework with positive results to really become one.

Last scouting-gathering of the season was a huge success. With available materials we made a program where the Efteling would be jealous off

First day of “Energy Analysis” course from the Open University. Nice to be studying again and nice to be able to do this in the garden!

Yes! It took a little time (read: 3 years), but we can finally enjoy our hammocks (yes, we have 5) in our garden!

Uprooted trees near our home, but luckily no real damage at our place. Some branches of the millefleurs-tomato didn’t survive but that’s all

I think we had 20 drops this evening, while less then 20 km from here there have been very heavy thunderstorms, rainfall and even hail.

Only 5 drops, that’s not nearly enough for the garden and to fill our rain barrels. Too bad, but maybe there is more to come…

After 6 years we say good-bye to our old BBQ and welcome a weber to our life. Pleasantly surprised with paper instead of plastic packaging.

We have a young hedgehog in our garden, so cute! Made me read about them, interesting. It lives in an area of 30 ha and doesn’t want milk.
